Christmas is nearer than you think...and other stuff...

Sitting in my recliner listening to Christmas music from one of the radio stations.I remember James saying just last week..."I don't want to hear any Christmas music until the week of Christmas". Well he is the one that has been putting the music on. (snicker) It is hard to believe that it is about 6 weeks away! This year is growing to an end rather fast.  We usually would be at church about now but James was coughing most of the night and still doesn't feel very well. So we stayed home today. The church we have been attending for the past 5 weeks or so has three services so maybe we will make it to the 6pm service. James is gearing up for the Dallas game this afternoon. The game is not showing on TV so he has to go to the sports bar.
The past couple of months I have gotten into "Couponing". I am not quite as good as the ones of Extreme Couponing but I have been able to save money. It truly is a game of knowing when to buy stuff. I never thought about it before, usually I just go to Save-A-Lot and get my groceries and then don't go to the store unless we forget something and I have to send Kristina to get something. The first part of November I think it was I was able to go to a workshop that taught about how to save money using coupons. My favorite sites so far are: www.southernsavers.com and thegrocerygame.com.
Until later....
