Wow, it has been forever since I have written on my blog! I had to search my name on Google to find the URL!  I was just reading my old posts from when I was working at Walmart. Sheesh...I don't miss that job at all! So much has happened since 2004 when I wrote about that.
   I hope to get better at blogging. So much has changed. I have my Masters in Special Education and have my certificate to teach. However, I have not been able to get and keep a full time teaching job. It is so frustrating. We are empty nesters and have been for  almost a year and a half. Kristina lives in Louisiana near New Orleans with her fiance' Cade. Justin is living in downtown Charleston with his girlfriend Kylie. He has been out of the house for 3 years now. He is going to Trident Technical College.
James and I are on Kiawah Island staying at a one bedroom bungalo. We have been here almost a month now. Willow our 2 year old lab mix is with us.
   This past weekend we had the rain bands from a hurricane come on to the Charleston area. The whole state is flooded! It is a mess!  On top of that my permanent front cap came off. It has been thee since I was probably 23! So now I am without a front tooth.  Well guess this is all for today's post.

Well here I sit at the computer and its nearly 3:30 in the morning now. I started getting sick yesterday at school. I was sneezing like crazy most of the day. When I got home I started taking meds. I took everything from Claritin (thinking it might be my allergies) to Theraflu and so far no real relief. Then about 11:45pm I took something that had an antihestomine (not sure what it was since it was out of the box) I figure good something that would dry me up. Well it actually did dry me up however I have been a wake most of the night. UGHHH!! I was suppose to work today but when i woke up at 11:45 pm and good not hardly talk or do much else i called in to the lady that assigns the subs and told her i could not work. Yesterday, Justin was sick with a low fever and coughing. I am hoping to be able to send him to school today. He has missed 8 days of school so far this year and can not miss anymore than 10 before they decide to retain him. I would rather he not have to stay in 3rd grade a

                                                                 My Scar     “OUCH”, I said to David. He and I were goofing off during band practice one day. He twisted my right wrist.   I didn’t think much of it at the time. It hurt a little but I soon forgot all about it. Then   about a week later I started having pains in my right wrist.   I was having a hard time being able to bend it. I noticed a large bump formed under the skin on the top of my wrist. I didn’t tell my parents. I figured they wouldn’t believe me and would think it was just growing pains.   It wasn’t until I was in my first semester of college that I noticed that the bump on my wrist was getting bigger. Since Mom used to work with a hand surgeon, she still had connections. So I went to see the Dr. and we set a date for the surgery. It would be on January 13, 1978.
