Life started to become normal having Wilber and Stacy around the house. Dave would have long discussions with Wilber. Stacy and Joni became best friends.
Wilber gathered both kids and brought them down to the basement that was now decorated as the game room. "I have two someones I want you to meet, They are very shy and may or may not come in here to see you right now. I didn't want to show them to anyone because some people don't like pets."
Joni's eyes got really big and she said, "What kind of pet?"
Wilber smiled and said, "The best kind, a cat and a dog."
"Skippy, Rover come in so you can meet Joni and JM."
Suddenly, Joni squealed with delight when she saw a small beagle puppy and a small orange and white kitten.
“Oh this is so cool! I am not sure how Dad will feel about this. He isn’t too keen on animals. This might be an exception since they are ghost animals. At least they don’t shed.”  JM said.
In the meantime, Joni sat down on the ground and Skippy the kitten was rubbing up against her. Rover the beagle was sniffing around the basement.
Wilber explained that Skippy and Rover were just like regular pets but they didn’t shed or require any food since they were ghosts. They liked to play like any other pet would play.
So it was decided that Skippy the kitten was Joni’s and Rover the beagle was going to be JM’s new pet. Since the animals were ghosts they figured why bother telling their parents. At night, Skippy would go sleep with Joni and Rover would go see JM.
